The power adaptor is not required for this booking unless Console Wizard asks for it during assessment. Include the actual model and year, reported symptoms and repair history. A board repair does not automatically replace or repair the screen, keyboard, battery, trackpad or storage.
Liquid Damage & Separate Inspection
A liquid-damaged Air may require the separate liquid-damage inspection and motherboard-cleaning service before a repair quote can be agreed. Its standard inspection price is £39.99, with existing eligible account discounts applied by the website.
That inspection payment is non-refundable because it covers the cleaning and diagnostic work, even if the Air cannot be repaired. It is separate from the motherboard-repair payment and the £30 unsuccessful motherboard-repair fee. Additional chargeable work must be agreed before it proceeds.
Other faults, including keyboard or screen damage, may only become apparent once the Mac powers on. Any separate parts or repairs require your approval.

If the motherboard repair is unsuccessful, only £30 is retained from the motherboard-repair payment and the remaining repair payment is refunded. A separately paid non-refundable liquid-damage inspection is not part of that refund. Postage is separate.
A separately booked £20 diagnosis is credited against an agreed repair. We contact you before undertaking additional chargeable work. The motherboard service is not a promise to fix every fault in the complete computer.
Testing, Warranty & Important Files
After an agreed repair and reassembly, we check operation relevant to the repaired fault. Motherboard repairs carry the stated three-month warranty, subject to the applicable repair terms. It does not cover an unrelated fault or new accidental damage.
