This repair is not to be confused with a faulty or defective LCD screen, this is a different repair.

Does your 3DS XL power on and then power off with a "Pop" sound?

The most common cause of this fault is a torn Volume / 3D Flex cable in the Top LCD screen assembly.

Our engineers can replace the damaged cable and bring your console back to life.

This repair is for the original 3DS XL console and NOT the 2015 version, please see attached picture to confirm this is your model.

Have you got buttons that no longer work one your 3DS XL?

This repair is for the "X","Y,"A",B", D Pad and the shoulder buttons.

Do you find that one or some of your buttons stick?

We can repair the above problems for you.

Is your Joystick no longer working on your correctly?

Has the Thumb button snapped or is damaged?

Does your joystick pull to one side when you are playing a game?

We can repair all of the above problems for you.

Does your console not register a game even though its plugged into the cartrdige slot?

Does the cartridge slot have damaged pins when you look inside the slot?

Are your games crashing intermittantly?

The cartridge slot will most likely need to be replaced.

Faulty SD card reader on a Nintendo 3DS XL.

System struggles to detect or read SD cards, causing errors, failed saves, or missing data access.

May require repair or replacement to restore full functionality.

Has your case broken on the hinge of your 3DS XL Console?

Does your consoles right side hinge have a crack, but the console still operates okay

Does the top screen still work?

If you can answer yes to the above questions then this repair will fix your console.

Is your power socket damaged or broken?

Have you dropped your console with the mains charger plugged into it, which has damaged the socket?

This is easily damaged, worry not though as we can remove the damaged connector and replace this with a brand new connector.

This repair is for the Touch screen or Joystick connectors only, no joystick or touchscreen will be replaced.

Have you setup your Parental Control setting on your console and forgotten the password?

Are you unable to change settings on your Nintendo 3DS XL console due to not knowing the Parental Control password?

We can remove the Parental Control setting from your console, re opening the console to full operation.

Have you split liquid on or in your Nintendo 3DS XL console and now its doesn't work?

Does your console have no power, powers on and then off, buttons not working, not charging?
