Does your console power off when you switch it on?

The most likely cause of this is a fault called "Yellow Light of Death" or YLOD for short

The symptoms of this fault are

1. Power LED lights green at switch on

2. Power LED turns Yellow

3. There are three beeps

4. Power LED turns RED

** If the repair is not successful, then there is a £20 inspection fee charged **

Does your TV or Monitor display "Cannot start. The correct harddisk was not found"

You may not be able to complete a restoration of your harddisk, it may stop at a certain percentage.

Is your console stuck in an update loop?

Does your console have a BLACK screen when powered on?

Is your PS3 console dead and will not power on?

1. Do you have no power LED on the front of your Playstation 3 console when switched on

2. Does your console switch off after a few minutes of use?

Have you got a damaged port on your PS3 Slim console?

Has your HDMI port become damaged and need replacing?

Are your USB or Network ports damaged?

Is your Playstation 3 PS3 console no longer displaying on HDMI?

Does the HDMI port itself look Okay?

This could indicate a faulty or defective Panasonic MN8647091 HDMI Chip

This chip is responsible for outputing the signal from the console to HDMI

Our technicians can confirm this is the cause of the problem and replace this chip.

Is your PS3 stuck at an update screen with an error code of 8002F1F9?

This is indicating a failure witjh the consoles Bluetooth / Wifi Module on the motherboard.

We can replace this faulty module and get your console working again.
