Is your desktop or gaming PC full of dust, running hotter than normal, becoming increasingly noisy or overdue for preventative maintenance?
Our professional PC and gaming PC full service provides a thorough internal clean and cooling-system maintenance to help the computer operate efficiently and reliably.
The standard service costs £59.99 and includes internal cleaning, fan and heatsink cleaning, CPU thermal-paste replacement where applicable and cooling-system checks.
Why Does a Desktop PC Need Servicing?
Desktop computers continuously draw air through their case to cool the processor, graphics card, motherboard and other components.
Over time, dust can accumulate on:
• Case fans
• CPU heatsinks
• Graphics-card cooling assemblies
• Air filters
• Air vents
• Internal surfaces
This can restrict airflow and cause cooling fans to work harder to maintain acceptable operating temperatures.
Common Signs Your PC May Need Servicing
Typical symptoms include:
• Fans becoming increasingly loud
• Visible dust inside the case
• High CPU or GPU temperatures
• Reduced gaming performance when hot
• PC shutting down under heavy load
• Hot air and poor airflow from the case
• Computer not having been cleaned for a long period
These symptoms can also be caused by a faulty fan or another hardware problem, so servicing cannot repair every overheating fault.
What Is Included in the PC Full Service?
The standard service includes:
• Internal inspection
• Dust and debris removal
• Case fan cleaning
• CPU heatsink cleaning
• Air vent and filter cleaning
• CPU thermal paste replacement where applicable
• Graphics-card external cooling clean where fitted
• General cooling-system checks
• System testing after reassembly
The exact work performed depends on the design and hardware fitted to the computer.
CPU Thermal Paste Replacement
Thermal compound forms the thermal interface between the processor and its heatsink.
During an appropriate service, the CPU cooler can be removed, the old compound cleaned away and fresh thermal paste correctly applied before the cooling assembly is refitted.
This ensures the heatsink has an appropriate thermal interface with the processor.
Gaming PC Graphics Card Cleaning
Gaming PCs frequently contain powerful dedicated graphics cards with their own fans and heatsinks.
Dust build-up around the GPU cooler can restrict airflow and contribute to higher operating temperatures and fan noise.
We clean accessible graphics-card cooling areas as part of the general service where applicable. More extensive GPU disassembly or repair may depend on the graphics-card design and condition and is not automatically required on every service.
PC Servicing Is Preventative Maintenance
A full service is intended to clean and maintain a functioning computer and its cooling system.
It should not be selected as a substitute for diagnosis when the computer already has a specific hardware fault.
If your PC is completely dead, has a failed fan, repeatedly crashes, displays no picture or has another identifiable fault, please select the appropriate repair or PC fault-diagnosis service.

PC Servicing FAQs
How much does a PC full service cost?
Our standard desktop and gaming PC full service costs £59.99.
Do you replace CPU thermal paste?
Yes. CPU thermal-paste replacement is included where applicable to the computer's cooling design.
Do you clean gaming PC graphics cards?
Accessible graphics-card fans, heatsinks and cooling areas are cleaned where applicable. Extensive GPU disassembly or repair is not automatically part of every standard service.
Will servicing fix an overheating PC?
Servicing can resolve overheating caused by dust, restricted airflow or degraded thermal compound, but overheating caused by a failed fan or hardware fault may require a separate repair.
Does my PC need to be faulty to book a service?
No. The service is primarily preventative maintenance and is suitable for working computers that require internal cleaning and cooling-system maintenance.
