    PS4 Slim Playstation 4 Drive fault su-42118 error repair


    We can repair this fault by replacing the commonly damaged or faulty components on the console's main
    board as a result of disks being forced into the Blu Ray drive.

    The problem is caused by a Blu Ray Drive Fault / Motherboard fault.

    On later motherboard versions of the Slim PS4 Console, the problem may not be repairable as the Chip that is
    damaged is not replaceable.

    If this is the case when our engineers examine your console, then your console would be returned and your repair
    fee refunded (minus the inspection fee if your console had previously been opened)

    If the repair is succesful, then your console will be back     to 100% health and is covered by our three month warranty
    for your peace of mind.

    Great Service

    I took my PS4 to console wizard as my disc drive was not working. After a first fix it started to accept discs however there was an issue where it was not reading discs. Engineers were brilliant as I was able to use the warranty repair service - the console wizard engineers repaired the console on the same day as drop off and notified me which I thought was amazing service. A very helpful and professional service. I would highly recommend and definitely use again if my console developed another fault.

    The service was fast and the console now works perfectly. The customer service was quick to respond to questions and helped a great deal.

    Very Happy

    So glad I found Console Wizard. Saw lots of good reviews and decided this was a good place to send my sons PS4 which wasn’t working due to his older sister pouring water on it.
    All I can say is great customer service , had a call back when they said they would and plenty of email communication telling me what was going on. Certainly cheaper than what I was expecting and very good collection and return service. Top stuff chaps and my son says thank you
