PS4 Pro Power Connector Motherboard Repair Service

This a common problem caused by somebody stripping down a Playstation 4 Pro console, who are not trained to carry out the work.

When the console is stripped down incorrectly, the power connector can be torn off the motherboard, which then means the console will no longer turn on.

The power connector is soldered to the motherboard, but this damage means that the actual power connector is torn off the motheboard, leaving no pads on the motherboard.

We can repair this and also refit a brand new power connector, to allow your existing power supply to plug back into the motheboard.

The repair is actually stronger than it was originally, so you have no concerns regarding unplugging the Power connector in the future.


The repair involves

• Stripping down your PS4 Pro Console
• Repairing the damaged and missing pads for the fan connector and then re making anchor points for the power connector
  
  
• Insulating the newly repaired pads with conformal coating (This is the Green product you can see around the bottom of the repaired picture).
  
  *** Note ***
  The conformal coating is insulation and is the same product that is on the motherboard already, that is why the motherboard is a green colour
  
  
• Re assemblying your Playstation 4 Pro and testing to ensure your console is fully working
