    When the port itself is damaged and the ports pins shorted together, this can cause other internal IC's to blow on the motherboard.

    If this is the case with your console, an engineer will contact you as there would be an extra £30 charge to cover the motherboard repair.

    Excellent service

    The service from the company was excellent. My product was shipped to them and returned to me within 4 days. Unfortunately it was not the charging port that was broken like first thought, but they phoned me to explain and their communication with me was not to be faulted. I would definitely recommend using these to others and I will be using them again if I need to. I never leave reviews for things but we were really impressed with this company.

    Switch oled charging port repair

    Sent my switch off to Nintendo a few months ago as it stopped charging, they tried telling me the whole console needs replacing and wanted me to pay £300, I found this bizarre so told them to give it back. So I sent it to console wizard for a charging port repair, turns out it needed another part which they did on the day at a small extra cost the service was extremely quick and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot to specify it was OLED which they didn't charge me any extra for and still cos me 1/3 of what Nintendo wanted. I would advise anyone needing repairs to their gaming console to not send them to the manufacturer instead send it to console wizard I couldn't be happier with the service!

    Nintendo switch wouldn't charge

    Great service again from console wizard with fixing my sons nintendo switch lite. This is fourth time we've used console wizard to repair failures on a selection of electronic devices that get general wear and tear from high usage in our household. Would tecoand will use again if we need to.
