Excellent communication. Put my worries at ease. My PS3 had a reball and was working fine for 4 years then YLOD, so I got in touch with Console Wizard and explained the situation. Sent in my console for diagnosis and they soon found and solved the problem and called me to explain the issue about the capacitors, they also replaced a damaged cover (console fell over while I was packing it). My Ps3 was returned to me well packaged and with the game disc that was stuck inside and is working again as if nothing had happened. Excellent service. highly recommend, will definitely use Console Wizzard again if any other issues arise.

PS3 diagnosed and repair.

I sent my PS3 console for a diagnoses thinking it had suffered from the dreaded YLOD.
However after diagnosis it turns out that the NEC/TOKIN capacitors had failed.
The team at consolewizard.co.uk replaced the capacitors with tantalum capacitors, re-applied new thermal paste and cleaned the electronics of dust and debris and the PS3 console was back with me the next day working quietly like a dream with all my games and data intact.

Took my second hand, overheating original PS3, checked it over, recommended I do LESS work than I thought, and sent it back delidded and fully life extended. Humming away happily under my TV playing four different eras of Metal Gear Solid. Marvellous, would absolutely recommend over anyone else.
